Take their traditional home, the longhouse-Billion / Ironwood trunks as the key foundation lifting the entire structure two or more meters off the grounds. The stairs, doors, exterior walls and the massive totem pole placed at village entrances, in front of long houses or at burial site designed to frighten away malevolent spirits are all adorned with carvings.
