Luba.  Before 1950 This very exceptionnal wooden ritual staff or sceptre has a beautifully carved head with on the back a cross shape.  The underside and top of the staff are mounted with a band of aluminium.  This staff is a "used" piece, which means that it was used during rituals and daily life.
