These food bowls have been used by the local Tribal Village People of Nagaland ( fomer Headhunters) as a food bowl. This very old and used food bowl consists of hardwood and shows a wonderful aesthetic shape with four legged round stand and a flat bowl. Allover a fine dark and glossy aged surface patina. Perfect visible signs of use and age.  PLEASE NOTE !!! These bowls are out of tradition, they are nearly no more used. I visited Nagaland in 2005, also the Konyak Villages of the remote areas of Mon District, and have seen only three wooden food bowls still in use. Condition: excellent aged condition, great dark and polished glossy patina, perfect signs of age and use.  Age: early to mid 20th century. Size: Height 18.0 cm. Diameter at rim 30.0 cm.
