Description
NOT AN AUCTION SO YOU CAN BUY IT NOW AND GET IT ON IT'S WAY TO YOU.  DON'T WAIT.FULL MINT, uncancelled + FULLY GUMMED SHEET OF 50 JAMAICAN STAMPS HONORING BOB MARLEY on his 50th BIRTHDAY.  Jamaica's best known proponent of TRUTH AND RIGHTS, Bob Marley's life is honored here in this extremely hard to find complete sheet of 50 of the far more rare $1.10 cent Jamaican 1995 stamps with full gum and these, UNLIKE most of the few available ON EBAY, ARE IN TOTALLY MINT, NON WRITTEN ON, NON-CREASED, NON BROKEN PERFORATIONS AND NON-ANYTHING CONDITION.  The photo and artwork used for the stamps is titled Fire and  it's designed by Bob Marley's friend and art director Neville Garrick.  The full sheet measures over 13" wide and over 9" tall.  Extremely unusual to find these intact and in excellent condition.Having little money 11 years ago, I didn't buy as many of these $1.10 Jamaican mint sheets as I did the fifty cent stamps, so there aren't nearly as many to sell.  I'm down to 5 left, ever.  As you see, the minimum bid is less than $1.50 per completely mint, untorn and uncancelled stamp.  Great and clean margins, JUST LIKE YOU HAD BOUGHT THEM 12 YEARS AGO.NOTE:  I EXPECT TO GET THIS SHEET AND A COUPLE OTHERS hand signed BY THE ARTISTS OF THE ART of the stamps.  IF YOU WANT SIGNED SHEETS OR FDC'S DON'T BID ON THIS ONE YET unless you want to ask me to request something special for you from Neville when I next see him.  When you think about it, this is ALSO one of the very FEW officially issued government recognized artifacts of The Movement of Jah People.  Ras Tafari be praised! Your complete satisfaction is my MAIN objective.  Please check out my feedback?  Everyone who's EVER ordered AND paid for one of my items has been left with a positive product condition and positive reaction as reflected in my feedback.  These represent around to 4000 transactions over 10 years. Like everything I offer, this is a special and tangible artifact of history.  May Jah reign supreme.  Haile Selassie I means Power of the Trinity and Ethiopia, formerly known as Abyssinia, has one of the oldest forms of the Bible and is proud of being one of the oldest Christian nations on Earth.  Of interest to Ethiopia collectors of all types, militaria collectors, Royalty collectors,  Bob Marley and REGGAE lovers and Rastafarians, this complete sheet of mint stamps comes highly recommended from this active collector of items relating to Ethiopia, Haile Selassie I, Reggae, Rastafari, Jamaica and Africa. If you have any questions about Reggae or Orders, Medals, insignia or books relating to Royal Ethiopia and/or Haile Selassie I, please ask? Please ask ANY questions before bidding?  All winning bids constitute a contract and payment is ACTUALLY expected within 10 days for domestic bidders and 20 days for foreign bidders. This entire description is copyright @2008 by RasTafariLives.comONE ONLY AT THIS PRICE Full payment instructions here:  Payment by PAYPAL is still perfectly acceptable, especially from the foreign buyers, primarily because of the speed.  Domestic shipping and handling with a cover sheet over this rare sheet of stamps is 7.00 Priority mail or 5.00 first class mail shipping, in a protective tube either way..  Confirmation of delivery is an extra .45 cents and Insurance is definitely available at the buyers risk if you don't take it.  I never take it, and it's worked out well for me overall.  I'm also an excellent packer, and you know that makes a difference in all items you buy online.   Foreign shipping expense will be determined after the auction end, but they typically cost less than 10.00 and sometimes as little as 7.00. TWO OR MORE SHEETS MAY BE MAILED FOR ONE FEE OR CLOSE TO IT.  Two other different higher value sheets of Jamaican Bob Marley stamps are available also.  The same may be true for a Bob Marley 100 dollar minisheet, or FDC thereof. Multiple auction wins of similar shaped items within a week or 10 days can easily be combined to save on shipping expenses if you tell me to wait for the second or third item up.  You may inquire about the availability of the extremely rare $1.40 stamp sheet or the pretty much unheard of $3.00 stamp sheet.  A good idea for a cultural product combination might be a particularly recommended pair of books, the signed WORLD OF REGGAE, featuring Bob Marley with the double-signed  BOB MARLEY, SPIRIT DANCER book, along with the Royal Ethiopian PATRIOTIC WAR MEDAL for fighting the Italians aggression in Ethiopia, 1935-1941.  Of course some of my other auctions frequently offer Ethiopian and Haile Selassie I-related books and periodicals.   PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR OTHER SPECIAL ITEMS RELATING TO ETHIOPIA, RAS TAFARI, HAILE SELASSIE I OR REGGAE? "Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph."Haile Selassie I Addressing the United Nations4 Oct 63 Thank you for your time, your serious interest and especially your bids.  This all helps to support my archive of living history, both Ethiopian and Reggae. I'm a long time member of Reggae Ambassadors Worldwide, the Orders and Medals Society of America, and the Ethiopian Philatelic Society, all of which I highly recommend to people interested in those fields.I am blessed to have a tiny part of my archive on display at the Smithsonian Institute's Natural History Museum as part of their DISCOVERING RASTAFARI exhibition.  Please go check it out any time you're near Washington, D.C.  The display has been successful enough that they are extending it's display time from one year to three. Discovering Rastafari! Exhibit: November 2, 2007 - Indefinite Using artifacts, rare photographs, and ephemera to explore the origins and religious practices of the movement in Jamaica, this exhibition takes viewers beyond the popular Jamaican music known as reggae to the deeper roots of the Rastafari culture. Video footage featuring first-person testimony from male and female Rastafari of different ages, nationalities, and racial and class backgrounds speak to Rastafari of unity and to the spread of the movement across the Caribbean and beyond over the past three decades.
