Description
Being offered is a very good Indonesian parang, most probably originating from Bali or Lombok. The sword measures 21" in total length. The handle is wood and has been carved to resemble European style grips. Has a simple metal guard. Scabbard is wood with twine wrap at the throat and lovely patina throughout. The blade is very nice with a lovely damascus pattern throughout. The blade also has an interesting clipped tip which appears to be the reworking of a broken blade. The blade measures 15" in length. An interesting and unusual sword with a lovely damascus pattern to the blade. Please e-mail with any questions. Winning bidder to pay for insured shipping/handling. Please view my other auctions for a great variety of edged weapons.
