This spectacular blanket is also considered by some to be a burial shroud. It is a deep red color and features repetitive figures of a man and a horse, symbolizing man’s journey from human life into the spiritual world. This blanket comes from the estate of one of the finest tribal collections in the Philippines. Intricately woven, it measures 65” high and 48” wide. It is very rare to see a textile of this quality on the open market.
