Housed in a American Heirloom album . This is a consigned collection ....Previous owners estate catalogue value over $100,000 ( 2007 scotts catalogue). Highlights abound in this collection , many mint / unused earlies including classics as well as many banknotes - from 1900 on most are mint . Also included are the airmails complete through C18 ( including C1-C6 ) and mint zeppelin set , the only other back of the book items was a run of mostly unused/mint duck stamps .. This is a valuable and high cataloguing collection with many of the stamps Scott values from the hundreds to over a thousand dollar range . Overall the condition is mixed with some faults to be expected more noticable in the early/classic periods - though there are many nice well centered and even many NH stamps present - the condition , as usual , gets better toward the later material . The collector was intent on filling as many spaces as possible , and did a fairly good job of filling the collection , while he did overlook some faults he seemed to be upgrading as he went and was likely in the process of replacing used with mint as he progressed . The estates catalogue value used the no gum prices for stamps without gum or those that are regummed . The owners catalogue value is a guideline only , and is not guaranteed - I believe it is somewhat optimistic but should be in the general range. As with all large collections this is to be sold as is and there will be no refunds because of the competetive bidding situation - but to cover for any misidentifications, faults, dubious items such as bad coils in the previous owners valuations the reserve has been set to more than compensate for any oversights , most of the stamps in this collection are very straight forward as far as identification goes . I have put the buy it now at a very low wholesale price with the reserve even lower - this should be a bonanza for the collector wishing to obtain some very scarce items at a bargain price or for a dealer willing to break up the collection for resale . The collector was intent on obtaining as many issues as possible and tried to fill a majority of the album sometimes overlooking small repairs or faults (i.e. the 241,242 , 276 etc. and others had repairs), though there are no great rarities such as the special printings , This should be a popular lot given the recent spike in the prices of scarce U.S. material , I have included amost 80 pages of scans .
