Description
Finland, The 1881 to 1986 collection of very fine used (a few mint hinged) stamps presented on home-made pages with a high degree of completeness for the period. Many sets and some interesting covers; the used items appear to be particularly superb; a very impressive selection of quality material right across the catalogue. Scott CV $1510.00. Follows the collector's backup stock on ancient album pages, approval pages, stock cards and in a pile of glassines with many hundreds of stamps/items again from classics to yesteryear, from U/FU to MH/MNH, chiefly F/VF but expect some nicks/faults here; duplication from mild to pronounced. Images show majority of the holding. Most attractive lot! (Cardboard box, about 1,5 kilos). Shipping Charges. Please do not bid if you have a problem with these charges. Pickup of the merchandise is - alas - not possible. Shipping charges for this item: Within Switzerland US$11.00 To Europe US$35.00 To all other places (including USA/Canada/Australia/China/Japan etc) US$48.00 Insurance: Not Available Ordinary mail at your own risk. Registered mail US$ 7.00 extra. Registration is mandatory for all items valued US$30.00 or higher. Shipping charges for multiple lots will of course be combined - if physically and/or technically possible and advantageous for you. Please wait for my invoice. Payment: I accept Paypal, checks, direct bank transfer. (Personal checks from US bidders gladly accepted at no extra charge. Customers in Europe are welcome to settle in Euro, UK Pounds or Swiss Francs). About the stamps. Unless the item description specifically says otherwise, the following is true of all my stamp collections and accumulations. The stamps in the scan(s) are the very same stamps you will receive, though all stamps may not be pictured in a large lot. If a catalog value is indicated, it comes from the latest available edition of the Scott catalog (if Scott listed) and I looked it up myself. Where there are watermark, perf, paper or other varieties, I have either confirmed the identification myself, or I've priced it as the cheapest type. Lots contain some duplication unless labelled "all-different" or "diff". Stamps identified as MNH are flawless and post office fresh. Mint stamps usually have original gum (if issued with gum), but may have hinge marks or remnants and/or pencil marks. A small percentage of stamps in a mint lot may be gumless. All different lots that include both mint and used stamps will often include one of each for some stamps. Most stamps are sound, but especially in older material there may be some faults -- thins, bad perfs, creases, etc. I try to weed out the real losers and mention any big problems in my description, but I just don't have the time to closely scrutinize every stamp in a collection. Binders, display cards or stock cards shown in the scans are not necessarily included with the stamps at the time of shipping. Thanks for looking! Created by eBay Blackthorne ver. 3.2.135.0
