Circa 1940, possibly from the Sepik River area.dimensions are 17in. tall and 6 1/2in. wide. Beautifully carved, with potruding nose, cheekbones, eyelids, mouth, and forehead. Nice white, red, and black pigments remaining, with some nice patina. Wonderful grass weaved rope through nostrils and two on each side of forehead. Exsquised detail!
