Part of the Maramba Village Collection by carver Paispanap.   SIZE: Length: 23"(58cm)  Wide: 7" x 18cm  Depth: 4.5" (11cm)   One Shell eye missing.   The Mundugamor tribe from Maramba Village were once prolific carvers. They now produce very few objects. In fact most of the Mundugamor villages have produced nothing for many years.  Maramba lies on a lake to the side of a small creek in the N.W. part of the Mundugamor tribal grounds. This area was once part of the Yuat river however the river changed course generations ago and now lies well to the east of Maramba.
