Description . I have the Sawos attribution from Mr. Ed Boylan himself, who field-collected this artefact in the 1970's. Not part of the current dispersal of his trading inventory, this piece had been set aside, I believe for exhibition purposes. I bought it from Ed in person. Old loss to the tip (as happens with bull roarers), and loss of two of the projections from the 'head' (is the shape anthropomorphic ... ?) of the bullroarer, visible where symmetry is lacking.
