It was collected 1950's on the previous owners parents property and has been in her possession up until now.It is 22cm long and 5cm dia (across). On the narrow end there are 3 small chips missing (about 1x1cm).It weighs 625grams (very heavy for the size)It is made of some sort of ironstone.It is dark green/brown in colour (pics don't show that and can only be seen when looking up close). It has been estimated to be approx. 3000 years old, but I cant confirm that. The estimate of its age and more details was given to me by an expert on Aboriginal Artifacts. I was also told that because it has a flat top to it, it would have been used to mark out Aboriginal territories or protect Aboriginals who live within the marker boundary. This is a very unusual Cylcon as most others that I have seen (pics) are white or cream in colour. This Artifact would be a real asset to anyones collection. This Cylcon was listed a few weeks ago, but I took it off because the price was originally listed too low ( I didn't know the value until I was told by this expert on Aboriginal Artifacts and it was then too late to alter the price).
