On the back it has a sign "A.Cipriani". Ada Cipriani was working in the late 19th century in male dominated Art area (when most of sculptors were men). She did quite a few female figures, often with very elaborate hats. Very sensitively done and finely curved. Excellent antique condition, 6 inches high.
