This coolamon is just so fine, I hope the images do it justice. The winning bidder will be impressed. I would say this early example which was collected in W.A. in the 30's is almost certainly stone carved. It shows evidence of much use with fire marks and a couple of age cracks and breaks (which in my opinion add to the overall aesthetic). The walls of this beauty seem almost paper thin!
