Description Canadian Centennial issue stamp set. This set of stamps are regular issue Centennial stamps from Canada (1967). The stamps are mounted behind perspex on the front of a Special Issue Stationery Box. The inside of the box contains a description of the stamps (written in both English and French) together with the Canadian coat of arms. The box has 3 compartments The largest (presumably for stationery?) says it is designed by D. A. Hillis Associates. The 2 smaller compartments are marked for Airmail and Special Delivery. There is some damage to the top of the box where there was (I assume!!) a holder for a pen, now missing. The box measures 6 x 8 3/4 inches and is 1 inch deep. Please see my other items for sale.
